The artistic journey is rarely linear—and for Georgia Koumoushi, it has been anything but conventional. From completing her Master’s degree in Industrial design in Italy and designing interiors in Cyprus to honing her culinary craft as a chef in Japan, her path has spanned continents and disciplines. It is this wealth of creative experience that she now channels into her work as a full-time artist.
In [Primal In*βυζι*bility to βυζι*bility], her debut solo exhibition in Cyprus, Koumoushi brings her multifaceted world home. She presents a powerful collection of paintings and watercolors. Her canvases are alive with vibrant color and mixed media, exploring the realms of the abstract female form and the metaphysical.
A defining feature of her work is the boundary itself. Georgia, constructs her own frames, not as containers, but as seamless extensions of the paintings themselves. This technique dissolves the traditional edge, allowing each piece a unique and unrestrained presence.
We invite you to step into the singular world of Georgia Koumoushi.
